Big Island Bike Tours > Hawaii Bicycle Tours > Mountain Biking the Big Island

Explore singletrack and jeep roads through hidden valleys, rim trails, plateaus and pastureland; more than 4,000 square miles of the Big Island, a bigger off-road playground than all the other islands combined. It’s no secret that riding on the Big Island is difficult because much of the land is privately held.  We have exclusive access to Waipio Valley Rim, Pololu Valley, and Mana Road. As the only bike tour company allowed to operate in these areas, we give you a backstage pass to the best rock (and dirt) show in Hawaii. Mountain bike Hawaii!

A trip to Hawaii is something special, no matter what’s on your travel agenda.  Pristine beaches, cascading waterfalls, lava flows, and snow-capped mountains are some of the Big Island’s many eye-candy options.  Bike Island Bike Tours works to combine these local elements on each guided tour so you get more than just adventurous exercise. Cycle the other side of Hawaii.

Hawaii’s mountain bike terrain offers many different dynamics, from mud to sand to lava rock (of course, not the hot stuff).  To ensure that our riders enjoy themselves we plan for all contingencies. From extra rain jackets to fixing taco’ed wheels, we’ve got you covered so that you can be completely focused on enjoying your tour.

Big Island Bike Tours has no hidden fees or costs.  Included in your tour rate are all land access fees, beverages, snacks, and equipment needs.  So, relax and enjoy the ride!
